I have finally updated this with a few entries that have been stored in my computer for weeks. They have been added in chronological order. This place might draw near to a close soon since I am spending much more time with my writing journal, what time I have to spend writing, and reading. The three rooms, out of the seven, where I live my life at home have unruly piles of books which will take me six months to read--if I am lucky. Meanwhile I continue to work 50+ hours, attend church, a bible study, dance class, and make myself available for new experiences like a dumb and dull college party and flying over the Colorado National Monument in a two-seater airplane. These are activities I wouldn't ordinarily do and I am not sure why I felt inclined to participate in them, although I acted more as an observer than a participant. I am not sure what I am here for. Each day astounds me with natural beauty (today the snow glowed through the billowy clouds with unbelievable light) and discourages me with the nature of the inhabitants of a small, western town. Alienation from the land and the people must account for the volume of mail and phone calls I send out each month. Satis bene.
